Bobcat 753 steering

While running the 753 the steering all of a sudden became easier and then would want to stick forward or stick backwards and not return to neutral it does the same thing when the bobcat is off and when you go to start it the controls are already in Forword or in reverse . Is this a dampener issue or could it be something else.
 
It could be the spring or a damper as you mention. Lift the cab, and inspect the linkages from the levers to the pump. There will be a big spring that pulls the plate on top of the pump back to neutral.

I looked for spring and don’t see it. Would that be at the back

Looking from the bucket, i think it will be on the left side of the plate that sits on top of the drive pump. There will be a spring with a bolt running through the middle of it.

With the cab up if you follow the linkages back to the hydro there should be a spring on top of the pump. Also look at the blocks and such maybe something came loose and is binding

Yes it was the spring must of broke off or fell off.went to dealer got spring ,bolt,bushing installed new parts ,fixed problem. Kind of a pain to get that spring Assembly back on . Thank for the help.
