Hi all. I just acquired a 753G that has an issue with the left hand drive. The right side pulls and operates as it should but the left hand is not. When you push lever forward it creeps ever so slowly in reverse and creeps forward when pulled to the rear. Any ideas as to what I should check first? This is my first skid steer and I am slightly clueless in their operation. Thanks for any assistance!

Did this issue just start? How was it working for the last guy that had it? Have you had the cage up to look underneath to see that the levers are connected OK? That's a place to start. You apparently have one good side and one that's funky. Compare the two joystick/linkage actions (engine turned off should get you a reasonable idea) and we'll go from there. And welcome to the Wide Wide World of Bobcats! :-) ---Bobbie-G

Bought it from a company with no information other than it has a new motor in it. We lifted the cage and checked the linkage. We made some minor adjustments but no change in the operation of the left side.

Seals go bad in motors, to know for sure, swap motors from side to side and see if the issue moves, if so, it's the motor.
I had a 753 that had no power at all on one side, the Orings had turned to powder. $5 in Orings, and it was 100%, the backup rings were not damaged, so i didn't need to buy a whole kit.
