Condition:

Will not Crank with key, starts and runs when Key ON and starter jumped with temporary remote start switch.

Backstory on this machine:

Bought from an auction. appeared all of the safety systems had been jumped together for whatever reason. two wires were also run from the starter to the cab on the ignition switch. I was unaware of all this until the traction lock froze and I started inspecting the machine.

BICS prior to repairs:

- Seat light - OFF
- Lap Bar Light - ON
- Traction Light - Double Flash
- Valve Light - Double Flash
- Power - ON

Repairs so far:
- removed the jumped wiring and taped bare wires
- reconnected Green/Yellow wire to the center post on ignition switch.
- made and installed Seat Switch Defeat for testing purposes. not permanent as I understand the safety concerns.
- traction lock now disengages properly.

BICS after Repairs

- Seat light - ON
- Lap Bar Light - ON
- Traction Light - ON
- Valve Light - ON
- Power - ON

I suspect I may have incorrectly wired the ignition switch but it have no diagram to confirm.

::FIXED::
Solution:

Improper Ignition switch wiring and a damaged Starter Relay

So after some help from

fortworth-cowboy

turns out the acc and start wires were swapped. The start relay had a bent pin preventing it from making contact.

so the Green/Yellow wire should be on the "ACC" terminal, The White wire on the Center Terminal, the Red/White on the "BATT", and the Blue/Green on the "CN or ON".
