I have a Bobcat 751 that is giving me problems I can't seem to resolve. When I push pedal for raising the bucket it will come up as it should but there is a particular spot it will just drop. If I press pedal down or up more and get away from this spot in the travel it will go up like it should. I have no idea what to do and am hoping to get some help here. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in Advance!

Are you talking about the tilt function or the lift function?

Does the machine have a bucket positioning valve?

It is the lift. Tilt works fine.i do not have a bucket positioning valve. I can have it raised in any position and when it hits that certain spot it will drop when I have the pedal pushed partially down in the raising position. Hope that makes sense. I thought it might be in the linkage but it is not. Is there an o ring inside the control valve that could be leaking by?

Maybe this will help. If I'm raising the loader and push on pedal harder to go faster it will go down until I push pedal more it will start going up again.

It does sound like something in the control valve.

From what you are saying it is when the pedal is in a certain spot that this happens, not when the arms are in a certain position?

Here is a link to the parts catalog so you can take a look at the control valve for your specific machine:

Yes, when the pedal is in a certain spot it will drop down when it should be raising. Thank You for the information. Hopefully I can figure this out today.

just throw this out, do you have a sticking arm bushing? it could be the hydraulic relief bypassing the arm cylinders, see it with a bent cylinder rod on a Deere, could be set low
