Left drive motor will only work in reverse. Also dumping hydraulic oil into chain case. Has anyone had similar problem and have info on DIY repair?

The oil leaking itto the chain case will be the carrier seal. The drive motor issue sounds like a seal inside the motor. That or a shuttle vavle is sticking in the drive motor.

Looking at diagram of dirive motor and do not see shuttle valve. Could that be comprised of the plug, o-ring, sleeve, spring, poppet and piston located at the end housing of the motor? Are the seals you are mentioning located on either side of the geroler? this motor is serial # 18000 and >.

That is the shuttle valve.
The high pressure seals are on the end that the fluid comes in from. If you are very careful, you may be able to get it open and the cap off without messing with the motor timing. When i did mine, the Orings had turned to powder.
