So I know it has been discussed before, my question is more of a technical one for diagnosis. I have the 509318001 & Above model. I have the manual and have read to swap the relieve valves on the pump from one side to the other. I read on another forum to follow the hoses from the problematic side drive motor to the pump and remove plugs and swap the valves. However when I look at the schematic on the bobcat site it show the valves as not being the same part number. It list on the part diagram 25 and 30 which are different part numbers and one is listed as a poppet and one as a relief valve. Later in the parts manual 3-17 in mine, it calls both on one side relief valves. So my question would be are there actually 2 relieve valves on each side of the pump or only 1 on each side? Also if I swap them and the symptoms go to the other side, which one is bad? I ask because I cant find anything showing which valve is responsible for which function on the respective side. Thinking ahead any recommendations on someone in South Carolina that works on these older units. If the drive motor needs seals I would like to find someone to replace them. I've watched and read on how to do it, seems straight forward but not for me.
