bobcat 743B Implement Help Hydraulic Hookup

I bought a small power rake for my BC743B. The hydraulic motor has three lines to it.

I have two on my accessory ports near the front. After some research, I believe the third line is for a zero return to the hydraulic reservoir.

Any ideas on how to hook this up?

most attachments that have three hoses are high flow, I think your 743 puts out around thirteen gal .per min.(not high flow) check that with the rake requirements for flow. There has been threads on adding a return line to machines that do not have them as yours does not.

It's called a "case drain" and it's for the hydraulic motor on the attachment. I'd be surprised if a power rake is high flow, but it can happen.

Don't run the rake without that case drain line hooked up or you will blow seals in the hydraulic motor. As foton stated, there are threads about adding the case drain line. Most end up dumping it back to the reservoir in manner that ensures that return oil is filtered before it is used in the rest of the hydraulic system.

Anyone have a source for hydraulic coupling converters? The ones that are on the rake do not fit into the bobcat accessories ports?

The ones on the rake are:

YK FF04-10 Flat Head

Bobcat:

NGEB-502-10 Not Flat Head

I googled and it says that they are interchangeable, but assuming they mean flat head to flat head.

Anyone have any advice on this?

This rake will operate on 10.6-15.85GPM.

Flat face couplers are pretty much standard these days.
I would swap out the couplers on the Bobcat to flat face.
You can find flat face couplers online or at tractor supply stores. There are a lot of different brands, you just need to make sure to get the correct size.

Here is the Parker 3800 catalog for their couplers. You can use it as a reference. I also included link (it's too big to upload PDF) to their 4300 catalog with hydraulic fittings. Very handy reference when trying connect hoses with different fittings.

MX, good reference materials and info. I was really talking about pictures from Mike as to exactly what he is looking for adaptors for.
In many cases It is 2 or 3 times the price to adapt uncommon fittings so they can be used, as it is to start from scratch. That was the case with an old International tractor I needed to hook up to equipment with modern couplers.
