I have a 743b and one of the two bolts that attach the bobtach to the arm of the machine came out. I found the bolt and the washer and I have a cup seal too. The pivot pin is still intact inside of the bobtach. There is some kind of bushing that goes through the arm itself for the bolt to go through before it reaches the pivot pin inside of the bobtach. I cannot find the proper one. Is there anyone who has a link to what I need? I have so many pivot pin kit pieces but I don't have the one I need. Thanks.

Here is a link to the parts catalog:

I was going to take a look but the site was having issues.

Good afternoon. Thanks for the help. My local dealers were useless and the link you sent isn't showing me a catalog but rather just a list of types of products Bobcat makes. I see the spot to put in the serial number but unfortunately my machine doesn't have the plate on it with the number. Do you have a way to look at a diagram with part numbers?

It seems that the website has not been working properly for the last few days. Hopefully they will get this fixed soon.

Normally you would press “Select Model” and then put in your model number. Then all catalogs for all series of serial numbers will come up. ( not as many catalogs as you would think, only like 1 to 5 total).

You are extremely lucky that the pin didn’t leave the chat after the bolt came out. I have a 763 and prior to me purchasing it this bolt came out, the pin also came out (it’s on a taper inside the arm and the bolt in question pulls it tighter into the taper) allowing the Bobtach to come out with a full bucket of soil, twisting and then snapping off the end of the tilt hydraulic ram. It then sat in a yard for over three years in this condition before I bought it in this condition.
If I have it correctly then you are chasing the bushes in the end of the lift arms, if so then my understanding these only need replacing if the bolt comes loose/out and the pin flogs the taper out inside the bush which obviously hasn’t happened if the pin was still tight. If you have play then it’s coming from the bushes inside the Bobtach and to remove this remove the washer from the bolt, screw it into the pin but leave it proud a 1/4” inch, then flog the head of the bolt good and proper once with a sledgehammer to loosen the taper. The pins need to be pushed back into the blind pockets of the Bobtach to be able to remove the Bobtach to be able to remove/replace bushes and seals.
