Bobcat 743 will not start

I have a bobcat 743 that will not start going to try test all connections for power just thought maybe someone would know or have had a similar issue one video is trying the key to start it the other is jumping the starter solenoid

Does it get fuel? What about the fuel shut off solenoid? Does it work? Does it start when you remove it?

I don’t believe it has on it does have a shutoff cable. And when I use jumper on the starter solenoid it pumps out fuel

I’m not sure if you’re asking about an electrical issue, or why it doesn’t start upon turning over?
Check for Fuel to injectors? Lift pump ok? No leaks in fuel hoses? Fuel pick up in tank clogged?
Glow preheat ( mine needs glow even in summer)?
Compression? Could be tested.
Did it overheat?

If the engine is turning over but will not fire then it could be as simple as operating the glow plugs as these engines do not have direct injection combustion chambers (they have a pocket up in the head) and can refuse to start without pre heat, even more so on an old Kubota.

Diesels are good at telling you what is going on with exhaust smoke, i see no smoke, you aren't getting fuel.

Glow plugs are needed when you see white smoke, white is the air charge is not hot enough to ignite the fuel.

Others can forward Bobcat info, but here is how I overcame starting failure on a 1995 New Holland LX885. The electrical is equipped with two circuits: RUN and SERVICE. The first is normal operating mode. If that fails to operate it may be switched to Service mode. This can over ride the inhibitor to the the run failure most of the time. When that did not work I tried 50 % ether and it would start. But that was not the final answer. The machine has two in series fuel filters. One was found to contain about a half cubic inch of sludge The fuel in the tank is discharged by air pressure so that was checked and seemed okay. Ether was applied again and starting resulted again. However, it would only operate in service mode. It does have the 12 monitoring lights illuminate but they will not shut off. I can not observe any of the monitoring systems such tachometer so I operate engine speed by engine noise experience. So more analysis to be done.

What about black smoke? No start

Lack if air, or bad injector.
If it's been worked on, could be a timing issue.

Replacing my starter and cleaning the ground points made a noticeable difference in starting my 743. It spins faster. On older machines it’s often more than one worn out thing!
