Bobcat 743 stalls on hills at times

My Bobcat 743 stalls at times but restarts. Unfortunately it always seems to do it on a hill. Everything I do here is either uphill,downhill or side slope. This old machine will still roll a little with no power and the brake is worthless. Can get scary. After is sits for a couple of minutes it will restart and be OK. Only does it sometimes and only a hill. Just rebuilt the engine and has new fuel filter and most of the lines. Plenty of fuel in tank.

Have you checked the condition of the pickup tube in the tank?

I'd also chenge the fuel filter too. It wouldn't hurt doing the air filters too

Air and fuel filters are new. Haven't checked fuel tank pickup. I'll try that. Might be getting air in system somewhere.
