Bobcat 743 hydraulic leak

The machine came back from the dealer and now the hydraulic fluid is leaking. It appears to be becoming from the pump area. The dealer changed the fluid (which I never told them to do) and refilled the reservoir to the neck of the tank. I thought that the level should be in the middle of the sight glass, not overfull. Does the fluid expand under pressure if to full? Did this leaking damage the pump? Should I drain the fluid down to the middle of the sight glass? Will everything be OK?

I believe that is over full, it could be the cause of the oil leaking out, it won't cause damage, jut a mess.
I'd drain it to mid range on the sight glass.

Thanks for the "good" news, I thought I would damage something by running the machine. I will definitely drain out the excess, down to the sight glass.

It is my understanding that when you see air start to show in the sight glass that is when you are supposed to add fluid. It is like the add line on a dipstick. I think you need to look for something the dealer did to cause the leak.
