The first thing i'd look at about vibration is the universal joints. If they go bad, the entire pump will vibrate and eventually fail.I cleaned the bronze filter in the port block which is where the most extreme vibration seems to be. It will turn a little to the left an inch at a time but does seem to go right at all. Was working fine ran out of fuel I think and then when I started it back up it was instantly making the extremely loud noise and would not turn and had very limited power. Any help is greatly appreciated that will help me figure out what is wrong and HOPEFULLY fix it!
It will go forward and backward but not much power and I could get it to turn right at all but if i went in reverse and through the sticks forward I could get it to hop a couple inches at a time to the leftThe first thing i'd look at about vibration is the universal joints. How is the power? you say it's noisy, but didn't mention if you also lost power.
I had dirt in the bucket when it cut off and when I went to start it and it had the loud noise I could barely get the bucket to raise enough to dump it. It will go up and down with nothing in it but it doesn't have the power it had a half hour earlier. It will go forward and backward but not much power and I could get it to turn right at all but if i went in reverse and through the sticks forward I could get it to hop a couple inches at a time to the left
You better check the u joint before you start the machine again. You can do major damage by running your machine if the u joint is failing. It can snap the pump shaft off completely by running it too long. Yes they are noisy when they fail.I had dirt in the bucket when it cut off and when I went to start it and it had the loud noise I could barely get the bucket to raise enough to dump it. I pulled the bolts out holding the engine in and slid it back far enough to get a little glance and feel around but nothing appeared broke to me. Is it going to be apparent or is there something in particular I should be looking for. Do I need to take the motor all the way out and remove the flywheel or anything to check better. Is there anything else it could be if it is not the u joint. If it makes any difference I had swapped the engine over to a 2203 that AntFarmer was a big help with. You better check the u joint before you start the machine again.
