BOBCAT 743 Damage flywheel fan

I have a Bobcat 743 and the u-joint failed and damaged the flywheel. I am not able to find a used one and was wondering if I can cut the damaged fins off and add 2 electric fans to cool the engine. Has anyone had a similar issue? Does anyone have a resource for a used flywheel/fan?

I have heard of someone doing this, but I thought there were issues with air flow.
Just how bad are the fins? are a few broken or was there a lot?
You can get a shop to balance it for you by removing other fins or bolting weight to the areas that had fins broken off.
