I'm trying to remove the engine from my 742 to repair a bunch of fluid leaks. I have everything disconnected but I can't get the engine to pull off of the pump. I've tried jacking it up with a hoist and yanking on it but it won't pull back. I even tied a ratchet strap around it and pulled but couldn't get it to move. It just swings around under the chain from the hoist. Any help is appreciated. It seems like the coupler is stuck.

Never mind...a couple of whacks on the coupler broke it free
Glad you got it out, ensure the coupler and u-joints are greased up nicely before you out it back in.
Make sure the universal joints are good, no slop or tight spots.
