Bogs down traveling uphill forward but not reverse.

Did you increase the throttle when traveling in an uphill environment? is it with or with out Load?

No load full throttle, after experimenting it bogs down in reverse also.

Try checking your governor. There is a process for adjusting it. It is also one of those neglected maintenance items. Make sure it has oil and the proper weight oil.

Does adding a little choke improve it when it starts bogging?

Assuming you have not swapped in an electronic ignition setup, check the point gap. My 732 w ford I4 will start to bog down going up even the slightest grade until I reset the gap.

Find yourself an electric fuel pump with the proper pressure.
