bobcat 722 no hydraulics at first

my 722 will not move at first then it is like it picks up prime and will operate.At first it seems alright then the hydraulic pressure on the gage someone installed by the filter on top drops from 60 psi to around 40 then it can hardly move.If you wait a few seconds the pressure will go back up to 60 but drops quickly and loses power again Is the pump junk ?

Is there a square block on the hydraulic pump with three hoses on the left side when looking from the bucket?
Sounds like a charge pressure issue, no oil then when it gets enough the pumps start working.
