ok. i got new engine in. runs like a top. now ive been fixing leaks as i go. the top of transmision i replacved orings. no more leaks. changed out the hydraulic filter up top. the one beside the trans. still getting pretty jerky hydraulic action. reverse is worse. gotta change lower filter today. is there an easy way to bleed air from the system? also filter light is on. it goes out at first then comes on. any ideas?

Just drive it around in realatively straight lines and it should self bleed, (don't make the hydarualics work hard with air in the system) or run it up on blocks. Shut down for a hour or so to let bubble rise up and out of the oil in the tank, then repeat the test drive.
Sounds like you have low charge pressure if the light is on, did this just start with the filter change? Can be air in the system, cold oil, wiring problem or actual low charge pressure for many reasons.
