Hello all,
Got an issue with an oil light that came on. Installed a new water pump which requires removing the timming belt which also runs the oil pump. Put everything back together and now the oil light is on immediately on first startup. How can I test this? I assume there isn't a specific position this needs to be in during startup but also real odd this happened after removal of the timing belt.

Just wanted to post a follow up to this. I must have hit the oil pump, spinning it the opposite way and it lost it's prime. Removed the oil pressure sensor, with the timing belt off, socket on my drill I spun the oil pump clockwise and started to get oil stream coming out. Connected my pressure gauge and measured 60psi. Put everything back together and good to go.
