Bobcat 610 Wisconsin engine verification

Was indexing if there was a way to find out exactly what engine I have? The name plate is missing. Is there somewhere else on the engine with a number stamped in it? Need a new head gasket, so wanted to get the right one.

The 610 should have a Wisconsin VH4D in it. The downside is that after forty to fifty years (the age range of a 610), there is a possibility that it was replaced with something else.

I'd start by looking at pictures of the VH4D online (Google images) to see if you can compare your engine to the images for verification and go from there.
