This is a case where MALLIE has a valid point. I don't know what you have in the machine as it sits but you could easily invest more than it is worth. You have addressed three different issues so far….the "pillow block", the "clutch" and described the "driven sheave". You will need a manual to do this work. Some parts are available on E-bay from time to time…..be sure you are buying the correct 'driven sheave' if you get one off E-bay or some other source (there were two different 'Jackshafts'). The fully loaded (and simpler) assembly runs 600.00 …. you can buy the individual parts……you will need half the sheave pt# 6501434….(about $400.00), three pins pt#6504924… (about $35.00 each) plus bushings, seals, roll pins, etc for another $100. You won't save much money so in my view…..you are better off to buy the loaded assembly new unless you find a good deal at a salvage yard or on E-bay. I am told by machinists that trying to machine the old sheave is not a good option…(sure wish OldMachinst was still around to verify this) The 'pillow block' is available at a bearing house or E-bay/amazon…….don't let the bearing house give you the wrong one as it will not pivot correctly if it has a shoulder on both sides. Farnir and Timkin (and probably others) produce this bearing which I've purchased for as little as 39.00 but they normally run 100.00 each (you'll probably need two). Clutches are inside the chain cases and likely need serviced also (along with many other things). Missteps in this job can cost you a considerable sum…..feel free to ask if you're not sure. My advice is to purchase a manual from E-bay before you do anything else.
