bobcat 542b dies after 15 mins

Hey guys I have a bobcat 542b with a Mitsubishi 4g32. It will run for 15 mins or so the dies like I turned the key off. After letting it sit for a few minutes it will restart and run for 5-10 then die again. I thought it was the coil so I did a full distributer tune up. (New cap, rotor, capacitor, points and coil.) but same results. I am wondering if anybody had the carb fuel shutoff solenoid go bad would it act in this fashion? Any help would be appreciated.

The way you describe it does sound electrical, next time it quits pull a plug wire and see if it's getting spark. There could be a thermal shutdown somewhere that would need traced out in the wiring.
If there is spark, check the carb solenoid for voltage, that should narrow it down.
