The problem seems to be the spool itself. The spool is different than my 742. Is there a detent that could be stuck?

May 10, 2021 #3 T Tazza Moderator Staff member Joined Dec 7, 2004 Messages 16,839 It is always a possibility, as the balls wear, they can get so worn tha tthe spring pops out and wedgs the cap in place.
