Hi guys
My 1999 bobcat 453 is having an issue with the hydraulics. All hydraulic functions are quite slow to operate, especially the boom up and tilt up. Boom up is also very jerky.
I have just pressure tested the system at the auxiliary couplers, and am getting the correct pressure (1450psi at 3000rpm at auxiliaries).
Also when hydraulics function there is a bad squealing/grinding noise.
I'm thinking maybe the gear pump is buggered and is cavitation and needs replacing. Just wanted to get some other opinions
Other symptoms being the tilt ram and lift arms bleed down when machine is not running
Thanks guys
