Bobcat 440b chain noise

I recently bought a bobcat 440b in really nice condition with the original engine. The machine works very well but when driving you can hear the drive chains make some noise. I jacked it up and moved each wheel back and forth and they only move about an inch. The gear case is also filled with oil to the proper level. Do I need to change the drive chains or is it normal to hear them a little bit? I don't know too much about these older machines.
