Does anyone have advise on how to rig up the two speeds on the 310. The clutches aren't there anymore, so I need to rig up from scratch. It has a 3/4" shaft off of a 'chonda' engine. I was thinking that two electric clutches wired to a double switch would work. That way, only one clutch was activated at a time. But, to be honest, I getting a little lost because I haven't seen how the 310 works with original parts. Any help would be appreciated.

The low speed pulley is around 5.4", the high speed is around 6.9. they where originally wired to a 5 pin relay with low speed on pin 87A, high speed on pin 87 and activated with a momentary button on the left handle. high speed is usually only used for travel or really light work, the high speed pulley was closest to the engine one the shaft, and bolted to the closure plate, the low speed was the outer and used a bracket to hold the base and wiring. I have a picture of my old 310 on here, you should be able to see it.
