Blower housing on a 642

Is there supposed to be a cover over the large opening on the back side of the blower housing above the fan inlet?

Wow! That is one clean 642. There is a shadow right where I want to see in that photo. Is there a big hole from which you can touch the oil cooler 8" above the fuel line? Is there something covering that hole?

Here is a pic that shows the hole I'm talking about. You can just make out the oil cooler fins through the hole.

Yes theirs a panel that closes it off other wise the air will blow out the panel in stead of threw the radiator.
Thank you renopker. Would you happen to have a parts diagram that shows the part? I need to figure out if it is something I need to order from the dealer or something I can manufacture on my own.
