Bobcat 873 with around 3600 hrs turbo I think gradually increase on blowbyMore details might yield more useful answers- (1) which machine do you have? (2) how many hours on same? (3) did the blow by increase suddenly or gradually?
The first thing you'll want to check is the breather tube, it could be a valve assembly on the rocker cover that routes fumes back into the air intake. They are supposed to allow pressure out, but not suck air in, and they will sometimes carbon up and not work properly.Bobcat 873 with around 3600 hrs turbo I think gradually increase on blowby
Thanks flyerdan 1 more question where's the breather located on my 873 and I assume it goes to the intake breather box correct. The first thing you'll want to check is the breather tube, it could be a valve assembly on the rocker cover that routes fumes back into the air intake. I have no idea where it would be. Assuming it would be similar to an automotive app, I'd start looking on the valve cover for a grommeted in item with a hose going away toward the air intake. Given that it has a turbo it could be covered up with some additional plumbingThanks flyerdan 1 more question where's the breather located on my 873 and I assume it goes to the intake breather box correct.
