block heater 1845c

I need some help. I am trying to replace my block heater. I does not work. I removed center allen screw and this thing will not come out. I drilled the center out got a 2lb slide hammer and it still will not come out. I am open to all suggestions.

Got back up and running. had to drill a 3/4" hole in the center and use a pilot bearing puller to get it out. Previous owner had water in it when i purchased it. Whoever installed the previous block heater used indian head gasket sealer. I figured that since i could see sealant on the block.

Glad you got it out, some sealant sure can grip tight!
