Black backing pad replacement suggestion

FYI. Purchase of the Bobcat soft black pad that goes on the panel behind the seat is expensive. I found a nice alternative. Go to an exercise equipment store, purchase one of their black floor pads that go under treadmills etc. (about $25-$30) Look for one that is black with the same sort of pattern as the original Bobcat one. Make a cardboard template, leaving a bit extra at the top... Cut to fit. Glue with auto trim adhesive (two tubes minimum). Keep pressure on it until it sets. Looks great. Make clear plexiglass pocket for safety manual. Bolt on with with pan head bolts pointing away from fuel tank. T.

I used automotive carpet, different texture, but it looked the part.
