Big hooks on front of M611

Does anyone know what these hooks are for? They look as if they are original fitment, and are welded onto the inner faces of the side cheeks just above and in front of the pedals. I found a pic on eBay for a M600 and this had 4: two more at the bottom below the floor plates, although there is no evidence that mine has ever had the lower ones welded on.

On the 600/610 the hooks were for mounting a backhoe, it did not attach to the boom just the machine frame. Pictures somewhere in the forum.
