Bobcat S300 trying to deal with all the repairs needed one at a time. :p Bought and tested a new Ecco 530, it works, the harness is good from the alarm to the first plug. Then I checked both switches 7110 wires and they work so the rest of the harness needs checked all the way back to the plug before the alarm and where it gets power. Not sure which fuse would power it, I'm looking off an S250 service manual and it's fuse box is different than mine. (SN 525811 and above) It looks like the wires from the switches end up going into one yellow wire before going back through the main harness. I figure if there is a break in the wire it's probably not in that big harness going back to the rear door. I should probably try getting power to one of the switches and see what I can figure out. Also, any good Bobcat junk yards to get parts from?

I think you'll have issues getting parts from junk yards on a fairly new machine like this. If you feel the wire is bad, can you not just trace it and run a jumper from end to end and see if it fixes the issue?

I think it's unlikely the wire in the main harness is bad. I have to test it with power on, not sure if starting it and being under the cab is very safe. Even in park... I have 3 plugs to clean and test before I can nail down where the problem is, if it's in the main harness, I'll have to run a new wire all the way back to the alarm. 2005 fairly new? Could use a wiring schematic. I need to see if I can find a cheap seat belt buckle as mine is rotted out and won't work. No way I'll pay 126 for a whole new seat belt.

The only safe way to run it with the cab up would be to put jack stands under the axle tubes, the wheels can't move the machine if they aren't touching the ground.

I did a quick test today while working on repairs to the seat. One switch on the left had power (key on) the other side had no power. I'll have to check each plug and see if they have continuity and try a bypass and see if the main harness is ok, if so, the alarm will sound.
