Bent axle or housing or hub or....

My dad and are are the proud new owners of a 2003 Case 75XT. We're towing it home as I type this. Unfortunately we noticed that one of the rear wheels is bent. It's not the wheel, but the axle or hub or something else. It does not wobble when rolling. It's just bent in at the top. Thoughts? Ideas? What are we looking at for a repair? Thanks.

Ahhh Haaa! I'll take bets on that one, nickle to a donut it's only a busted axle bearing. Do Not Use! Fix immediately.

Thanks Don. That makes sense. I've never been into a skid steer, but do car and tractor shade tree mechanic work all the time. Is this repairable by a do-it-yourselfer? Any special tools needed?

I've never worked on a case but I imagine you really need to start with a repair and parts manual. It's not going to be a "piece of cake" by any means but will be certainly do-able. Hopefully a Case mechanic will chime in directly.
