backhoe wont work

Hello I have a 743 with a 909 hoe and it will not in gage. The line has pessure. when i pull on the levers only the dipper cylnder moves. And out only. It will go back in a little at a time when its all off and then only if the ingage lever is pulled in and the dipper lever pulled over and over . Help Thank you. Mike

It sounds like you don't have pressure or at least not enough pressure. CHeck pressure with a gauge on the top aux hyd fitting. Should be 2000+ psi. The backhoe attachment just has two simple open centre control valves. Oil flows through the valve body and back to the machine. When you move a lever, oil flows through that valve to the cylinder. I can see one bad valve but not all of them.

Silly question, but are you sure you have the couplers on the right ports? pull the lever the other way and see if the hoe works properly. If so, swap couplers, i have done this myself, easy to do, especially when its new to you.
