hey guys, i have an older 907 backhoe, the swing is ridiculous, as we all know. its so hard to control, damn near impossible. should i put flow restrictors on the hoses? does anyone know what size i'd need, i think i only need the kind that is like a washer with a tiny hole in it. thanks

Get adjustable ones and install them in the hoses at the swing rams.
You could install washers, but you would need to fiddle, start with a 1/8” hole and work up from there till you find the sweet spot.

do you know what size hose/thread it would be? 3/8"?

if i got one that stopped flow in both directions could i get away with just one? i cant believe bobcat even released the backhoe the way it is. really the swing is an embaressment, i dont care how good you are its ridiculous.
On my davis backhoe the restrictors go in the valve body where the hose comes out for the function. I think I have 3/32 ones in there now. The davis is a 4 lever hoe though not a 2 lever. There were some in there from the factory with a larger hole so it must be a common thing.

Ideally one would do the job, but if you have two, the speed in both directions will be the same. There is a possibility it will not be the same if you only have one, but if you are ok with that, go that route.
Sorry, not sure on thread sizes.
