Backhoe Buckets

Are the backhoe buckets the same for the 909 and the 8709? I have a 909 and found a smaller 8709 bucket and want to make sure it will fit.

That's a very good question!!! I would measure pin diameter of what you currently have & then measure the pin diameter of the bucket that you're looking to purchase. Also consider the inside width of the ears of each bucket. I think that will help fit them to your machine. On a side note, how do you like the digging power of your 909 attachment? What sort of work do you mainly do with your backhoe?? I have a chance to pick up one fairly easily.

i have seen 909 and 911 buckets on a 709 backhoe, so i am fairly sure it will fit. however, the 909 and 911 buckets have 2 pin options depending on what kind of digging you are doing. the 709 buckets only have one set of holes. hope this helps
