Question for anyone using aux hyd on a 665 or ls160, the manual says when you put the handle down it will stay in a detent position for continuous flow. Mine does not. I was using the back hoe with the handle up and raising the latch up under it and it kept it up and I had continuous but only because the couplers were on the wrong hoses. Is the detent in the valve body or is it in the linkage up top at the handle? thanks for any help.

I looked in book and it does have detent in control valve cap so I guess that is next.

The detent is indeed in the valve, common for them to rust up and quit holding onthat white brand of loaders so Iguess itcan happen here too.

I did get to the detent to engage by adjusting the linkage but it is sticky and hard to disengage so I should take the valve apart and clean it up. The problem I have is that I can't break loose the 2 screws that hold the end cap on, they seem to be 3/16 allen head and you can see them but they are hard to work on. So I guess removing the whole valve is next. I wonder if they count on leakage from the spool to oil it, maybe if I engage the aux with the couplers not hooked to anything the oil would go over the relief but maybe the spool would weep a little and oil it. Or with my luck I'd pop a oil line and lose all of the oil.
