aux hydraulics on s-300

ok here is the deal. the aux hydro only works one way but not the other, and yes i did the normal stuff, swapped the spools, and magnets. no change! i checked the power and its good. any help on this problem of mine would be greatful.

So moving the coil from one to the other made the opposite side work? same with the stems? Can you check for voltage at the coil that is not working? you said you checked for power, does that mean you have power at the coils?
Did you move the spool AND stem? or just the coil then the stem?
Its common for a coil or stem to stop working, but not for power to the coil to be lost. If its not a wiring issue, its likely its the controller.....

Check for a possible broken centering spring on either end of the auxiliary spool. I believe there are 2 springs on each end and a fancy spacer/washer that acts against the spool. should be just a 2 bolt cover on each end of the spool to access the springs.

I had the broken centering spring on my 773G, aux would stick on in one direction usually. After I fixed the springs I had to change the stem on that side too, Not much was missing off the cup between the two springs but enought to jamb up the stem.

yes both the stem and coil, did not change direction, and yes i have power going to both coils as needed. i do agree that it might be in the valve body, as this machine has 8000 hours on it. when i get a min i will pull the covers off and check the springs. thanks!
