It was real dirty with a little rust it and some dirt caked in it.Doesn't seem to be worn though. We are going to put it back together today and see if it will work.Other than that the machine runs good but I bought a backhoe attachment and without aux. it doesn't do much good. Guess I should have checked that first. The aux. hydraulics have never been used as the guy I bought the shop from bought it nhew and has never used them. Thanks for the info, hope it works when we put it togetherIts probably the balls/springs in the end of the spool. Its here that the spool is locked into place, if they are worn it won't stay in place.
Did you check this when you had it apart?
if the first owner never used the aux hydraulics the stop pin may still be in the hole in the bottom of the rt hand lever? It is at the bottom just above the cross over tube about a 3/8 hole with a bolt dropped thru so you don't accidentally engage it. If it just won't stay in check that no hoses are interfering too.It was real dirty with a little rust it and some dirt caked in it.Doesn't seem to be worn though.
