Hi guys. Quick question. I just smashed the wire loom for the attachment that is fixed on top of the hydraulic houses quick release, against the top of a container. I underestiamted the extend of the oscilation revesing out of it and bang. I must say that it is located in a pretty bad spot, sticking out as it does over the arm. The tip with the plug is smashed but the wires seem to be in one piece. I wonder if it is possible to replace the plastic head that screws to the steel plate or you have to replace the whole thing. Marc

Hum...how do you edit your own post? I forgot to say the machine is a T180 Hooroo Marc

Only moderators have the ability to edit at this time, its in the “to do” list for future upgrades though.
You can talk to your dealer about the harness, but unfortunatly i would doubt they would sell it as a spare, it may be one of those parts they class as NSS (not sold seperatly) and they want you to buy the entire harness. I'm sure you are not alone here and with a bit of luck it is an available spare.

The parts are available seperatly. there is a kit to replace the end or you can buy the harness, do you have the 7 pin or 14 pin connector. and the edit thing would be great I just posted in another thread thinking when I hit the post button in a reply it would copy that into my reply.

My local Bobcat dealer told me to my surprise that all the parts are available separately. The plug itself is rather pricy but it seems they can also provide the other bits and pieces separately. Will do a test and see if the wires and still OK inside, otherwise it is a chop off and change the whole plug. >I have the 7 pin. > Clearly the loction is not the best one. I am thinking in cutting a plate in the shape of a triangle and weld it to the arm so that it keeps the plug out of harm way. > I must say that the CAT is even worst and electric plug and hydraulic hoses are all exposed. > As for the edit feature, It should be part of the original program. If you get to it, may be you can also allow for enter keystroke to stay as part of the text so that itdoes not rap around into a monolitic block. > It would be much easier to read

Marc - edit your profile, click the box that says “use HTML editor (free text box)” this will fix your formatting.
The edit feature is planned, but Geoff is busy with his house, i know all these features have been a long time coming but the site is free (to members at least) and work is done when time allows. Sorry if any of that sounds snobby, but he really does the best he can.
I know a guy that runs a S300 for loading containers, he has broken the manifold with the couplers many times, he now just runs hoses direct to the 4 in 1.

OK let's see Ok ticked the box but no joy. Hehe, snobby....neee I know the meaning of free and voluntary. I think I'll give the extension palte a go. It is easy enough and will prevent any damage from above and from one side that is rather good for a few doollars of plate and paint and one foot of welding.

Do you even use the elec.aux. , If I wasn't in need of the electrical aux controll I wouldn't fix it , it's is pretty rare ever needing it seems about 97% of attachments don't use it -------- you can unplug the wire right on top the battery and there is a plastic cover made onto the wiring to cap off the lead coming off the frame harness ------- once those aux wires got smashed right out the back of the plug where it tucks under the boom where you could not see it , it had rubbed bare and was shorting out not allowing the machine to start from the key pad , that was hard figuring out , it was shooting a code that the remote start was engaged which lead to tracing it out -------------that whole aux quick coupler manifold on the new style machines is a mess , expensve parts and easily broke
