Attachment fitment

Anybody else having fits mounting Bradco / Paladin land sculptors? Last Spring I bought a Bradco Land sculptor like this: https://www.everythingattachments.com/Bradco-78-Land-Sculptor-Skid-Steer-Quick-Attach-p/br-land-sculptor-106400.htm To use on my ~30 year old 863. I struggled to make it mate up to the QT, I had to grind about 3/16" off the bottom surface of the attachment plate, as the top lip and bottom section where the wedge go through were too close together. Even then mounting was a huge chore and required a cheater bar, big dead blow hammer and a particular subset of my vocabulary I just to delivery of a almost new T870 with power QT. Same problem only worse as hammers and bars are no help. This time I had to grind off another 3/16" and die grind the wedge slots ~3/16" to the rear. Now I can get the QT to close. I have 3 buckets, a fork frame, a trencher, a Paladin auger, and a swing boom mower. All of these fit both tractors with out any problem. Careful measurements taken by placing a 1" round under the top lip and measuring down to the slot where the wedges engage revealed the Bradco Land sculptor was a bit over 3/8" shorter than all the other attachment QT plates I have access to. Last summer when I contacted Everything Attachments and Paladin, both refused to even consider their eq was out of spec. Really unpleasant and time consuming. Promised phone calls not returned, blame the customer etc. Curious about others experiences. Makes me very wary about Paladin / Bradco. Tobin

Check the fit on the top of the loader Quick-Tach where it fits up under the attachment plate top strap.
I have a couple of non-Bobcat attachments that would not fit properly. It was caused by the width of the strap of steel across the top of the attachment Quick-Tach plate. The strap was too wide and was hitting the top of the loader attachment plate.
This prevented the loader from being able to slide all the way under that top strap. This will prevent the bottom from being to rotate all the way into the mount.
I modified the attachment by taking a grinder and narrowed that strap on each side so it was not hitting the top of the loader Quick-Tach.

Thank you, I've verified the top of the Bobcat QT is fully seated under the top lip, no gussets or weld dill-berries of other junk to keep the top of the QT from fitting under the lip. I made sure the Bobcat side was clean too. I own a fab shop, water jet, press brakes, all sorts of welding etc. CNC machines etc. I have the means to carefully measure the distance from the top lip to the slot where the wedges engage. I placed a 1" round bar under the top lip and then measured down to the edge of the wedge slot. The round bar compensates for top lips that might be longer or shorter etc. The Paladin Land Sculptor plate was ~3/8 shorter than the shortest plate on any of my other attachments. My guess is the fixture used to weld these is out of spec. I tried to communicate that to Bradco Paladin, but they were not at all interested. Tobin
