Has anyone ever replaced the serpentine belt on their JD 317 skidder? I have a 2005 and will be doing this tomorrow in a parking lot where it will be about 5 degree's so any tips to help speed up the process and avoid unnecessary mistakes would be greatly appreciated. How do you tension it once it is one? Do you simply pivot the alternator to take up the slack or is their a specific tensioner pulley and if so, how do you loosen/tighten it? Thanks in advance.
