Angle broom problem

I have a angle broom on the front of my toolcat. If I turn it on and applied any pressure to the brushes they stop turning. When they stop turning the chair is moving on both sprockets. I am thinking there must be a broken key or shear pin somewhere. I just got this and can't figure it out so please help if you can. Thanks for your time.

Contact a dealer and see if they can give you a parts breakdown (most will fax you one, if not try another dealer)
They may know what is common to fail too.
Either that or pull it down and see what up, post the fix here for future reference.
