adding rear stabilizers to s130

going to look an s130 to buy tomorrow. I have an old set up rear stabilizers hanging around, if i buy the machine i might put them on to help with changing tires and when i occasionally use the backhoe. no downsides, right? either way, are s130s ready for rear hydraulics and its just a matter of plumbing it? thanks tom

I don't believe it's already plumbed for it, but you could modify it to work. I had a 753G with two sets of quick couplers on the arms, there was a dirverting solenoid in the rear on the left side that powered it. I don't remember if it took fluid from the aux hydraulics or not, but i suspect it did.
Essentially a dirvering valve that when operated will make the aux hydraulic flow to go to another line would work.

isn't the controls on the left stick for the rear hydraulics? like is there an extra valve on the hydraulic block for it?

I don't know, my left stich didnt do anything to make them work for me.
The other issue is, there is not an extra segment in the control block to move the fluid, so it must be tapped into the aux line. Unless operating the left switch operates the aux segment in the control block AND it activates a dirverting solenoid, which is possible.
Hopefully someone knows just how they are hooked up.

Can you talk to your dealer? I had a machine with two lots of qouck couplers on the lift arms, there was a dirverting solenoid in the aux line.
As you don't need to operate the stabilizers often, a dirverting solenoid is a simple way of doing it.

both my 743 and 843 have a valve on the block for rear hydraulics, on the 743 the left lever controls the rear, my 843 even though the valve is there nothing in plumbing is connected and there is no linkage to the valve, you should first look at the spool valve and see if you have the extra ports
