adding a small heater/defroster to a skid loader

I have a early '80's 985 bobcat skid loader. Book says it has a 22 amp alternator on it. I want to add a 12 volt heater/defroster. It draws 13 amps, according to the book. The only other "accessories" that run regularly are the 4 standard lights that came on the loader. They are not halogen, or anything. So...the question is, will this heater be too much drain on the elec system? Any advice would be great. Thanks, Dan

I don't see a probelm there, you have 9 extra amps there. Absolute worst case, you can upgrade the alternator if required?
