Aloha, I have a 2005 bobcat a300. When I block the machine up and go forward my computer is reading 2 different speeds. The left side is at 30 and the right at 14. It struggled in low gear and bogged the engine down. When I try to travel the steering binds up because of the difference in speeds. I was to told to do a case drain test, and took out hose near filter. Oil poured out of the left side and nothing from the right as soon as the machine was turned on. I was told i needed a new drive motor. Bought a new one and installed it and the problem was worse. Switched both drive motors to the opposite side and problem stayed the same. I really need help. I live on a small island and taking it to a dealer is not an option. I have the diagnostic software but there was nothing that I could find to help me. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Have you tried a Hydrostatic Pump Calibration?
I'm not sure if this will fix the problem or not but it may be worth a try.
Thank you. I have tried this but I keep getting codes 39-05 and 39-07 which I believe are joystick codes. When I hook up my diagnostic software it shows that they are centered. I was thinking of trying to reset the pump neutral as well as the solenoid nuetral. I was wondering if anyone could tell me how to test pressure from the left and right side to compare. I seen a video where they remove the hose going to drive motor and put a gauge on the pump side. Is there a port that I can use instead. I have a hard time getting fittings and those large hoses would definately give me problems. I have a gauge set and have already taken out M1 and M2 port. Just not sure what the specs and procedures should be. Thank you for your patience.

Did you fix the issue?

That oil pouring out on one side during the case drain test is a big clue — usually means something is bypassing internally, most likely in the pump. That would also explain the speed difference and why it’s bogging the engine.
Sounds more like an issue with the hydrostatic pump or its control on that side. Not the best news, but at least you’re not chasing the wrong part anymore.
