New member, I've got a 98 753 that I've replaced seal kits in drive motors over the years. The last time I did the right motor it lasted about 2 hours, I had replaced everything but only one oring was messed up when I tore it down again. I replaced only that oring. It is the one about the size of half dollar. Fix lasted about an hour of easy work. Started doing the same, so i parked it. What to look for when I tear down again? i looked for burrs, rough spots but found nothing.

I would start by checking to see if you have a clogged return filter. Sounds like something is building up pressure where it shouldn't causing your new seals to fail prematurely. Not all 753's have them (mine does not) but they are usually on the return line from the drive motor. They can be cleaned, but my understanding is they are inexpensive enough to just replace them.

Good answer, check the case drain filters.

I looked at my 753 this afternoon. The right drive, the one giving me issues, does not have a filter on return line. The line goes straight to the valve assembly mounted above it. The left side does have a filter on it and it goes to the pump. There is a matching port on the right side of the pump but it is plugged. Any other suggestions?

The RH side drive motor case drain filter is right underneath the hydraulic reservoir. See Picture.

Went out of town a few days. I pulled the case filter from the bottom of hydraulic tank and it was pretty gunked up. Definitely would have restricted flow, did not see any metal. I replaced that filter, checked the left side,it was ok but cleaned anyway.. I ordered anther seal kit so it'll be a few days before I try again. Actually going to try and match the oring that keeps messing up this time. Thanks again for the advice.

Just wanted to let yall know i didn't just leave, things came up and then i had a stroke that I seem to be fully recovered from. So today i got the 753 running, and the drive wheel is working fine. The case filter I'm sure was the problem. I do truly thank yall for your help here.
