97 mustang 2040 no hydraulics

G'day, After parking up my 2040 the other day i came back 2 days later started her up and found she had no hydraulics what so ever. I shut her down and found she was low on hydraulic oil. I put about 3-4 gallons in her and made no difference. Also the back left tyre was flat, not sure if that would make it harder to pick up the oil cause she was sitting on a bit of a lean. Could she have a air lock? Blocked filter? Or have i burnt the pumps out? TIA Justin.

Start by looking at the engine to pump coupler. I'm not sure if Mustang uses a U joint or Lovejoy.

Yes, i have checked that and it has drive down to the final pump.

If you know the pumps are spinning, next is to check charge pressure, that's the base pressure for everything. Generally charge pressure is created by the implement pump ( normally I'd call it a gear pump, but I don't know mustangs well enough so it might be a vane). If the pump is bad, its not going to create pressure to the hydrostat for it to work. Occasionally there is a separate charge pump tucked away in the hydrostat. Like I said, I don't know how Mustang exactly does things.

Here I looked better. There clutch. Pretty added oil, look for leaks. If the pump is leaking oiled clutch can slip without turning pump. It also may de an electrical problem : Lift/Tilt and/or drive lock solenoids do not work-reason : Fuse Faulty seat or restraint bar switch. Faulty hydraulic solenoid relay in instrument panel. Wiring to solenoids disconnected or faulty.
