I bought a 2004 709 backhoe attachment for my 97 763 and I have a few problems 1) When connecting to the backhoe and lifting it onto the Bob Tact plate it has a tendency to slip off very easily. Do these get bent over time causing this to happen? 2) Once on, it is very hard to get the hoe to sit down on brackets. I have to push the bucket against something in order to get the pins back far enough to sit down onto the brackets. Its as if the brackets on the skid steer are an inch too far back. Or the Bob-Tact does not tilt far enough back. But, it seems fine with a regular bucket. 3) What is the proper procedure to get the auxiliary hydraulics going to run Backhoe? I have a pad that's marked "Auxiliary Hydraulics" that has 2 LED green lights on it, one with a picture of a lock next to it. Could these issues be because of the difference in manufactured dates of the backhoe and machine? Thanks for any help and advice!

My initial thought is to check your bobtach pivot pins and bushings for wear. That likely won't explain why it slips off the bobtach, but it may explain the bracket alignment issue.

your bushings could be worn a little bit. my machine has all new and its still a little tough sometimes. i find that if i tilt down a fair amount then tilt up the momentum brings it up the little extra bit. if not...VERY CAREFULLY!!! engage the aux hydraulics and push the hoe down to the ground, it will push back the brackets so they line up.
