I hunted up the microfiche for the control valve and it is indeed on opposite end of the linkage connection. It appears there is a bolt that is removed and then a spring and then the detent ball. I went out and checked on the skiddy and the bolt for the detent ball and spring looks to be a PITA to get at, but I can probably do it. I'll try replacing the ball first if it looks bad, otherwise I may have to pop for the detent float kit which is 153.00.</p></blockquote><p></p>
