I just purchased a well worn and weathered 909 backhoe attachment which I will mount on my 743. I feel I will need to change the seals on the bucket ram. Is there a source for the shop manual so I can have a clue as what to do. An operators manual would be useful as well. The 909 will be delivered next week. Thanks, Richard

i'd be interested in this too, as i just bought a 907, the next size down.
I don't have manuals either for my 909, but I do have a few pages of parts listings my local dealer was kind enough to print out for me. PM me and I'll email you the PDF scans of them. ...karl

Just the parts breakdown is all you really need, these are very basic. The hardest part about re packing a cylinder is getting it unthreaded. After that you just put the new seals in the way the old came out.
First point, leave the cylinder barrel attached to the machine while unscrewing it. There is no need to remove the barrel and its one less thing to hold while your on the chain wrench unscrewing the cap. Sometimes it takes a second person to hammer a bit on the chain wrench to get the cap to move also. With some guidance from the folks here you will be fine.
